Final for drawing class

So we were given the choice of either drawing a mechanical interior scene, or a natural odject for our drawing final, however if you decided to do a natural object, it either had to be a self portrait (and I don't have access to any full veiw mirrors), a dead animal, or a statue from our nature lab because he didn't want us to use living models for some reason

So I chose a statue and here's the end results

I like the close up of the arm and the two full bodied figures the most, but those feet at the bottom suck so fucking hard, but he told us not to erase our mistakes, just make them lighter which is the only reason why they're still there

Honstely I didn't like drawing from the statue that much

A) Because statues aren't real people, therefore their anatomy is usually over emphasized

B) They don't have that feel living models give off and drawing a plaster cast can get pretty borring after a long period of time, however plaster doesn't friggin stand up in the middle of your drawing which is a plus

Also every single statue that the lab had was broken, and this one was the closest to being fuly intact, even though he's missing an arm

Overall I think it came out pretty decent, though I still hate those damn feet
